…I started a story by starting with the beginning of a joke. I was having a problem with what to write about and I decided to follow the old adage “The only way to write is to write”. It worked out well; I wound up in the top ten of a contest. It’d be nice if I went further, but my goal was to make the top ten and I did that. With that in mind I’m going to try it again. Just start with the beginning of a joke and let the words flow. I’ll have to wait til lunchtime to do it though. I’m about to start work. Wish me luck.
