…no way this man can fit himself through that tiny tube. -But he can, I’ve seen it. -You’ve seen it? -Well, not seen it. But he left a trail. -A trail? -Of cookie crumbs, yes. -Really? -That’s the gist. So yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.

When she cried…

…it was as if the world stopped. Everything faded away, making her the center of all things.I pray she can find solace in my arms, feel my presence as I hold her head just right, forgetting the burp towel, forgetting everything, giving my soul to her.

A hurricane is headed our way.

I imagine it as a solid wall of wind and water, standing as tall as the sky. Dark and dreary, full of energy, and yes, fire, the inner cauldron giving it life.
