…when wizards and horses walked the land. It’s a something that came to me in a dream, as many of my stories do. And if you’re looking for a happy ending, this ain’t it. It’s a long read, with a sort of twist, if you enjoy perspectives. I guess it’s a cautionary tale. Just cuz you see things with your eyes doesn’t mean it’s true for anyone else. Anyway, enjoy!

Just read that… pretty good. Long piece – is this part of a larger piece, by any chance? Can I make a suggestion? that first paragraph doesn’t need to be there. I think we reveal enough about the characters as we read through the piece. I would start at the dialogue, which is very immediate and snappy.
